The website was created by course designer Professor Jordan O. James and by the students of the Community and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture and Planning at The University of New Mexico. The purpose of the website is to expose students’ various perspectives on the current societal issues in the urban and regional planning field. The project focuses on describing the social structures’ development and urban society framework changes in the United States. It also focuses on the history of planning in both urban and suburban developments, with students’ unique perspectives. The website is built up by many creative ideas reflecting the individual understanding of the urban planning world. The content will contribute to our society and identify some of the planning and design decisions that need to be made.
